How to Attract Veery
A forest bird known for its beautiful flute-like song, the Veery is an awesome bird to listen to and observe. The Veery is found in mature deciduous forests (especially those with a water source), where it is often seen foraging on or near the ground for insects and berries. The Veery is a rather reclusive bird so it doesn’t visit feeders and rarely visits birdbaths (though may use one if it's in a secluded area and not elevated far off the ground). Veery nest on or near the ground usually close to shrubby areas or fallen trees.
