Herbaceous perennial ranging from 2 to 4 feet in height, Blue Flag Iris blooms eye-catching blue-purple flowers from May to July. Hummingbirds and insects are known to extract nectar from Blue Flag Iris. The insects will in turn attract insectivorous birds.
