Attracting birds with Nyjer Seed

An imported seed that is very small and rich in fatty oil, Nyjer is the clear favorite of the American Goldfinch and Pine Siskin – among other birds. The best way to provide Nyjer seed is in a tube-shaped feeder (note that many manufacturers design feeders specifically for Nyjer seed).
