When it comes to fruit-eating birds, the Halved Orange is probably the best fruit option you can leave out at the feeder. The bright color, size, and sugar content make Halved Oranges especially alluring to birds as they go through migration in the early spring. Baltimore Orioles, Gray Catbirds, Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, and even the occasional Cedar Waxwing will eat from Halved Oranges. Other fruits that may attract birds include: Apple Slices, Raisins, Grape Jelly, Grapes. If you are looking for a more natural way to attract birds, see: Attracting Birds with Fruit-Bearing Plants.
