Attracting birds with a Nectar Feeder

A Nectar Feeder is one of the best ways (the other being Flowers) to attract Hummingbirds. Nectar Feeders are usually bright (Hummingbirds are attracted to bright colors), small in size (since Nectar spoils if left out too long), and feature multiple ports – so multiple birds can drink simultaneously. While generally inexpensive, Nectar Feeders do require maintenance, as they must be refilled (depending on weather, change every 1 to 6 days) and cleaned quite often (use 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 1 cup of water). Nectar Feeders may also attract Baltimore Orioles.
