Herbaceous perennial ranging from 1 to 2 feet in height, Wild Bleeding Heart blooms (you guessed it) heart shaped, pink colored flowers from May to July. Hummingbirds and insects are known to extract nectar from Wild Bleeding Heart. The insects will in turn attract insectivorous birds.
