Herbaceous perennial, ranging from 4 to 8 feet in height, American Boneset blooms clusters of tiny, white, nectar-filled flowers from July to October. The flowers are very attractive to all sorts of insects – including: butterflies, caterpillars, beetles, and flies (among many more) – these insects in turn attract insectivorous birds.
