Fruit Feeder

A Fruit Feeder is a bird feeder that holds fruit. The most common type is a structure that includes pikes which can hold large pieces of fruit like: Halved Oranges or Apples. Many Fruit Feeders also include support for dishes which are often filled with grape jelly or raisins. Fruit Feeders are most commonly visited during migration and can attract birds that don’t often visit other types of feeders (like: Orioles, Tanagers, Waxwings).
